Though this indie movie has a few charming moments and highlights some diminishing morals in present society, it is ultimately uneven and leaves an empty feeling.
The cast does a comendable job; it was nice to see Platt in a meatier role than what he may be use to, and Keener is a solid as ever.
Overall, despite some positives, Please Give is not a movie that's likely to stand the test of time. A decent one-time watch.
