Review of Please Give (2010) by Cw M — 15 May 2011

Really well done. a little movie about neighboring families in a NYC apt building...charming, uncomfortable, and truly funny - I laughed (and smiled) all the way through. the foundation of this film are the characters - in a movie full of character actors, everyone is perfectly cast and you get a sense that these people have known each other for years, wonderful.

rebecca hall in particular is in her moused-out glory, I loved her performance. if you have a place in your heart for low-key indie comedies, you will absolutely dig this.
