Review of Pleasantville (1998) by Gilmar G — 17 Sep 2009
One of the best, most original & underrated films of the 90's. There isn't a dull moment throughout. Even Paul Walker was good, lol. The scene with Joan Allen in the bathtub where the tree bursts into flames outside has to be one of my all-time favorites.
I can't think of a film in the 90's that combines cinematography with music better. Whoever covered the Beatles 'Across the Universe' sounded amazing.
