Review of Pleasantville (1998) by Bryan W — 05 Jan 2009
The ingenious blending of seamless black and white with color could have been the gimmicky reason to go see this film, but it instead becomes part of the overtly genius social commentary taking place while a humorous and mature story plays out.
None of the performances particularly stick out, but the message is the star of this picture.
