Review of Pleasantville (1998) by Steph O — 21 Jul 2010
A clever comedy with a great cast and a lot of heart. A boy and his sister (played by Tobey Maguire and Reese Witherspoon) find themselves trapped inside a black and white 50s TV show called "Pleasantville", via a suspicious TV repair man and a magical TV remote.
It sounds silly, but the result is a really touching movie.
