Review of Playing by Heart (1998) by Richard A — 16 May 2008
Connery/Rowlands: very wooden acting; Madeleine Stowe: her horrible old self; Anderson/Stewart: awkward; Mohr/Burstyn: sweet I guess, but going nowhere...
Ryan Phillippe and Angelina Jolie save this movie from becoming an orgy in boredom, I found it moving, they should've maybe made a movie on just those two. Dennis Quaid's story was funny too.
