Review of Play Misty for Me (1971) by Mark O — 27 Feb 2008
Clint Eastwood is the late-night DJ who has an affair with seemingly charming number one fan Jessica Walter, only for her to turn out to be a complete psycho. Made 16 years before 'Fatal Attraction' this is arguably the better film with Jessica Walter absolutely terrifying as the unhinged Evelyn Draper.
This film marked the directing debut of Eastwood. Some fantastic photography as well of the beautiful Californian coastline.
