This is the "Fatal Attraction" of 1971! The dialogue leaves something to be desired and the movie doesn't delve too much into why Evelyn is the way she is (unlike the way "Fatal Attraction" does for Alex which made Alex a lot more sympathetic), but overall it was very scary.
I loved the love scene between Dave (Clint Eastwood) and Tobie (Donna Mills) where "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" is playing. I thought it was beautifully done. I definitely recommend this one!
