Review of Play It as It Lays (1972) by Katie M — 06 Nov 2007
This is one of the most beautifully photographed films I have ever seen. It's cinematographer was Jordan Cronenwenth, who later shot Blade Runner. It's filmed very simply, an elegy which shows restraint and mastery.
The other suckers who have commented here are impatient fools. This movie is a sophisticated masterpiece. You idiots should watch it again.
