What begins as a realistic politically tinted comment on globalization and Western consumerism eventually ends up in pseudo-psychological instrospective confusion, and when Anthony Wong's character suddenly turns into Kurtz I'm definitely lost.
Although misguided, Plastic City has a gorgeous look even though some of it looks like it's been shot on DV.
