Planet Terror was something I would call "modern"... That isn't always a compliment, I mean the humor wasn't that 'humorous' in all honesty... That mixed with the mediocre acting and oversexed women (one with a gun for a leg) wasn't a bonus for the films case.
I won't lie it makes a fair "pointless" watch for fun, but I doubt you'd want to watch it again!
