Review of Planet of the Vampires (1965) by Konrad S — 22 Dec 2010
With a title like Planet of the Vampires how could I not love this midnite classic from Mario Bava. A crew of space explorers, in nifty leather outfits, arrive on a mysterious, fog filled planet and members of the crew begin to act strangely.
What follows is a fight to the death for the very future of the human race. The vampires of the title aren't really vampires at all but rather body snatchers who exist as a particle (or something like that) until they posses a human host/body.
The ending was pure dopeness. Not to be missed by those who go for this kinda thing (like me!).
