Wow... just wow. I'll be the first to admit that the "reversing of roles" was a clever idea, but holy crud: the execution was horrible! This is probably the most boring animated film I've seen, with DreamWorks' "Bee Movie" coming in at a close second. At least I watched most of that one... with this movie I walked out of the living room about halfway through out of boredom.
There were a few funny moments, but those were few and far between, and I didn't feel like sitting through all the boring stuff to get to them.
0.5/5 stars.
(Note: I'm thinking about maybe giving this one another shot, so stay tuned.).

OK, so watching this again, I guess I was a little harsh on it. The movie still has some really weak dialogue, and the vulgar humor was unnecessary ("That's an odd place to have an antenna..."), but there were some truly laughworthy moments (like Rover scanning two Base 9 workers and identifying them as "Morons").
So really, still not very good compared to other animated movies, but not a total waste of 1hr30min. I'll give it 2/5 stars this time.
