Review of Planet 51 (2009) by Sol C — 10 Sep 2010
Hooray for Planet 51. I was very happy that Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks didn't make this animated film. The film is an homage to classic scifi films. The film reminded me at times of animated films like Monsters vs Aliens and The Iron Giant.
It also reminded me of films like Back to the Future and The Day the Earth Stood Still. The robot probe Rover, reminded me of Wal E. I thought the voice cast was well casted and everyone delivers. I definitely recommend Planet 51.
