Review of Planet 51 (2009) by Jake D — 02 Aug 2011

This film does have an interesting idea, but it just was not done properly.

There is no development of any kind. The whole movie basically was the astronaut lands, the alien kid helps him, and they form a bond unlike any we've seen before it.

Ok that last line was exaggerated, but not by much. Anyways the characters were all quite boring, and the movie offers nothing new it's all quite tired, and cliche, and even the animation isn't anything special. Will most likely be a lot of fun for smaller children, but adults will most likely be bored to tears.
