Review of Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) by Darren D — 05 Jun 2010
One of both Steve Martin's and John Candy's finest comedies with both actors on top form. Some great slapstick moments, but most importantly this film has heart especially in the final scenes where Steve Martin's character realises the truth about John Candy's character.
All this plus a very funny cameo from Kevin Bacon early in the movie.
