My favorite John Hughes film of all time. As much as I love "Uncle Buck", "The Breakfest Club", "Ferris Buller", and all that, I felt that this was his best. Showing Hughes's skill of writing more than just high school comedies.
What stands out the most is the chemistry between John Candy and Steve Martin--which was almost like comedy heaven.
