Review of Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) by Kevin S — 01 Dec 2012
Neil page is a cosmetics executive and us on his way home for thanksgiving. On his way and as his flight is being delayed he runs into del Griffith, a loud mouthed guy that sells shower curtain rings. He first runs into him trying to get a cab and then again at the airport.
They team up and try to get home and keep running into problems along the way. Via train, car, plane they are destined to get home to their families for thanksgiving. Every problem they run into you will be laughing it is absolute hilarity as these two buddies try to get home.
John candy and Steve Martin together us genius. They are absolutely hillarious together. To me this movie is a classic. It is one I watch a couple times every thanksgiving starting right after Halloween.
If you are wondering what good movie to watch that is really funny and a good buddy comedy that involves a road trip and thanksgiving then your answer is planes, trains, and automobiles.
