Planes, Trains and Automobiles is some good old Thanksgiving fun. I didn't even know about this movie until this Christmas season and it made me sad that I missed watching it during Thanksgiving. But after a recent upload to Netflix I got my chance to see this highly entertaining and memorable movie.
This movie is full of many outrageous John Hughes' moments. Both Steve Martin and John Candy are hilarious throughout, giving us a number of cringe worth situations. One of my favorite moments showing the comic power of Steve Martin was after he got picked up by the balls. His voice was hilarious.
I can see why I didn't see this as a kid, as it could easily be one accept for the fact the the F-Bomb is used intensely in one seen, which turned out to be one of the most hilarious uses of F#ck ever used.
Planes, Trains and Automobiles will surely become a Thanksgiving tradition for me. This is a movie that I long to re-watch for years to come. This is a great holiday comedy!
