The Murphy's Law of films. When Neal Page, a businessman, and Del Griffith, a low-class but friendly salesman, meet it's disaster from the get go. Neal just wants to get home to his family for Thanksgiving, and the only way to get there is to travel with Del.
Along the way they continue to run into various obstacles and mishaps, but somehow manage to form an unlikely friendship. Steve Martin and John Candy make for a surprisingly strong comedic duo. The film is one of the best comedies you can see, and it's also infused with a surprising amount of heart.
A great, classic film.
