COMEDY.
Very amusing road movie written and directed by John Hughes(Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club) starring Steve Martin as Neal making attempts to make it home for Thansgiving except that a certain obstacle by the name of Del played by John Candy keeps on getting on the way.
A combination of "The Odd Couple" and the "The Sure Thing" where the film pits two people who're completely the opposite of one another- the neat freak with the Steve Martin role and the disgusting, obnoxious character played by John Candy. One of the most funniest highlights has John Candy and Steve Martin forced to share the same bed at a remote motel is one of the best comedy bits for many years to come.
