Review of Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) by Robyn M — 29 Jul 2012
This movie, has action, 2 great stars, a funny story and a great friendship. Steve Martin is a family man on his way home for the holidays and gets seated next to John Candy aloud mouth, salesman. So when anything that could go wrong like a detour, a broken down bus, and a rental car mishab.
you've got the timeless classic team of misfits. this movie is hilarious, sad and heartwarming. what Martin doesn't relise is Candy's character is just lonely not purposly trying to drive him insane.
once thats solved and he finds out Candy's much talked about wife is passed on he takes him home and the 2 become friends. It's a perfect Thanksgiving movie.
