I guess I wasn't aware that this wasn't a Pixar production like the original. DisneyToons took over. One might be able to tell with the slightly grainier texture but they did a decent enough job to keep all age levels entertained.
They also did a good job at honoring our firefighters. Sure thr story and 'comedy' fell short in a few places, but it was still decent. Might be a better DVD purchase than going to the movie theater.
