Review of Planes: Fire & Rescue (2014) by Scott E — 07 Aug 2014
There is perhaps no greater example of trying to milk a franchise than Planes. Disney, sporting an uncharacteristic lack of creativity, simply ported the character design that made Cars successful over to another transportation method.
Though tolerable, both Planes movies lack the emotion needed to find a place in any cinephile's heart. There just isn't enough emotion in either of the films, with this one being the worse of the two.
