Review of Planes (2013) by David D — 28 Mar 2014
With a fascinating idea, an inspiring story, a good script full of cute dialogue, a great voice cast headed by Dane Cook as Dusty Crophopper and featuring Brad Garrett, Teri Hatcher as Dotty, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, John Cleese, Anthony Edwards and Val Kilmer, perfect directing by Klay Hall, exciting scenes and sequences and a wonderful pace and flow, Planes will mostly entertain kids but adults will find that its not as clever as Disney's films in the canon.
