My five year old son loved Planes. Yes it is a simple story but that should be enough for young children. Too often we expect our children to grow up too quickly and need complex action and plot lines.

Give them some simple starting ideas and then let their imaginations fill in the rest. Planes is a beautifully executed, simple modern fairy tale - and that is fine.
