Review of PK (2014) by Omer B — 21 Dec 2014
FIRST OF ALL, IT CAN'T COMPETE THE MIGHT OF 3 IDIOTS... There is nothing new here.... Second half is terribly predictable.... and the climax scene is MERCILESSLY COPIED IDEA... 15 minutes of Sanjay Dutt were so lame that you keep on wondering WHY... till the time Tharki Chokro song comes in - Even that wasn't justified enough)....
But, it is so hilariously well executed that you would like to watch it at least twice...
OH AND JUST DON'T MISS THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES OF THIS MOVIE -.
It's all about literally an Alien (Aamir Khan) landed on Earth - Totally NAKED in TRUE SENSE, lost his contact with his alien ship and kept on finding remote in whole movie via which he could call his spaceship back. At same time, he kept on trying to learn the way humans interact and live (Sounds like "Koi Mil Gaya Movie"?) OR (where Mola Jutt lands in UK and copies them, Funny right? Same about this movie... But, here he tries to understand so many religions in India)....
...
So whats the Twist? It's about Social Message...(Remember, Just like in Bhoothnath Returns, message was all about corruption... but in child friendly environment).....
Main story is all about Religious Harmony.... and, at same time against the Peer-Faqirs or Pandits etc who use religion very well for their interest...
..
Further Entertainment Quotient?
India-Pakistan Love story on Anusha (An Indian) & Sushanat (A Pakistani).
