Review of PK (2014) by John R — 25 Aug 2015

Don't think I've ever seen a Hindu foreign film before, especially not one that's also a musical, but I gotta say that I surprisingly enjoyed it. The film seemed to be really dumb in the first couple of minutes, especially the first song that's overly cutesy to the point where I wanna puke.

But afterwards, it got as smart and clever as the writers of South Park. The comedy is clever and hilarious and the film's examination of human religious beliefs is DEEP and eye opening. While the alien character's frozen expression probably will disturb a few people, this is a foreign film that I would sure as hell recommend.
