Review of Pixels (2015) by Marjon O — 03 Dec 2015
Pixels is an action comedy film set in the year 1980 and 2015.
One year, contenders of an arcade tournament decided to send a video of an arcade tournament into space. The video was then intercepted by aliens who thought it was real. So they invented real life arcade games, sent them over and said if they won, they'd get to take over the world. When word reached the president, Will Cooper (Kevin James) who used to always play arcade games, he sent a message to his best friend Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler) who so happened to have come 2nd in the exact tournament that was sent into space.
The film was very good due to some good parts in the movie for example: How they turned objects into pixels but some other parts of the movie were unnecessary like how Ludlow (Josh Gad) kissed Lady Lisa (Ashley Benson) The film should not have kissing because kids watch it. The comedy was great in the movie and some scenes were very expressive for example: The fighting Pacman scene.
