Doesn't deserve all the hate its getting. I don't think anyone coming to see this movie should expect something elaborate and in depth, which is why I think it has so many negative reviews. As a gamer I enjoyed seeing some of the older characters in the film.

The acting won't blow you away, but it isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Pixels definitely brought back some memories for me and while the jokes weren't outright amazing, it made me laugh more times than not.

Give it a chance and don't judge it simply based on what you hear and read.
