Yet another 80s type movie albeit this one is not as over the top as the others trying to play on the popularity of the decade. For the most part, the movie was very boring. The dialog is simply uninspired and feels somewhat forced.
The romance edge took up a lot of screen time and was not good at all. It should have been left out or less emphasized. The comedy was slapstick as always however it didnt connect very well in this movie.
I did laugh about 3 or 4 times but it wasnt like some of the laughs I had in other comedies. The plot was non-nonsensical in that there was no adversary characterization except for a few words that Q-Bert made about his race.
Anyway, its not the worst movie on earth, but it most certainly is below average by my book. I would skip it.
