Review of Pixels (2015) by Isabell C — 21 Oct 2015
I went from extremely high expectations after loving the short film to extremely disappointed when I heard it was to be a Happy Madison production in the era of Grown Ups 2, Paul Blart 2, and Joe Dirt 2.
Because of this I avoided seeing it in theaters until it was at the dollar theater. And maybe it was because of my low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. Don't get me wrong, it was still below average, but compared to those other HM films, it looks like gold.
