Review of Pixels (2015) by Dylan B — 24 Dec 2015

Maybe I am just over the idea of expecting anything great out of Adam Sandler, but Pixels was ok for me. Yeah, not a glowing recommendation, but it had some cool special effects and 80s nostalgia, which is what I went to see it for in the first place.

The jokes were a bit stale, and the story is pretty much the same one he has been telling over and over again, but with cool video game visuals and an "aging joe-schmo saves the world" kind of attitude.

Sure, it could have been better, but I have seen worse.
