Adam Sandler just stop it already. You can't act anymore or make good films anymore. The film premise sounds really good but execution is just so poor. This movies overall story is pretty bad. Characters are beyond dumb.
The comedy aspect just isn't there and its supposed to be a comedy movie, you know those movies that make you laugh and not regret ever taking the time to watch it. While the visuals are nice to look at it will not help or bring up this movie.
If I want to look at nice visuals go watch a good movie like Avatar or Pacific Rim instead. It such a shame to because this movie tries to ride on the popularity of 80's video games in order to help boost its popularity but unfortunately the movie forgot to take into account that the viewers are actually intelligent and can tell the difference between a good video game like movie such as Wreck it Ralph and a turd such as Pixels.
This movie should change its title from Pixels to "Wasted Potential: The Movie. 1/5.
