I do have to admit. I do like Pixels for its special effects. Chris Columbus did make a return after a 5-year hiatus from film directing, and Pixels did look good. Now, let's get to the negative side.
Casting Adam Sandler and Kevin James was the worst decision any casting director could make. Adam Sandler showcases his ability to giving an acting performance 5% of his all. Also, Kevin James as the President? I don't know what to say.
This movie is not special. It has "chuckle" moments, it is loaded with impossibilities, and horrible acting. The only thing to make up for it is the special effects during the Centipede and Pac-Man scenes.
