Review of Pitch Perfect 3 (2017) by David L — 14 Mar 2018

Pitch Perfect 3 is not much weaker than its predecessors even though its plot is almost non-existent and that entire crime subplot is so silly and unnecessary that not even the presence of John Lithgow could save it.

But the group dynamic is still strong and although not all characters and actors get their moment to shine, Anna Kendrick is great and of course Rebel Wilson steals the show in terms of the humor. It is a shorter and thus more brisk and fun film which serves its purpose to entertain.
