So, I give this movie five stars not because it will win an oscar.

I give it five stars because if you enjoy the Pitch Perfect franchise as light, entertaining fluff that provides a moment away from watching the catastrophe that is the American presidency ... it is definitely a movie that delivers to it's fans what we are looking for.

Most fans don't go to see the third in a series of movies expecting something new. We want to see familiar faces, and we hope in this case to see some good dance moves and hear some nice music. We EXPECT the comedy, and I felt like this 3rd movie did a much better job than the 2nd movie in the series.

As far as this group of five people felt when we saw the movie, we were satisfied and laughed all the way through the thing. You can't really ask for more than that. Citizen Kane it ain't, Schindler's List it ain't -- but top notch fluff it most certainly is.
