It went for the laughs and not to impress anyone because their fans with enjoy it! I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Did it go over the top sometimes, of course it did, but that's what I was expecting.
The music was really fun -- the whole Toxic section was easily my favorite part, of the whole trilogy. If you go, just try to have fun with it and don't go in as a critic looking for every small detail.
