Review of Pitch Perfect (2012) by Dawdlingpoet — 22 Nov 2021

This is a fun, light and entertaining/somewhat amusing watch. Its just what I needed in this current climate of doom and gloom, may I add (this review dating from March 2020). I enjoyed the vocal performances of the various acapella groups in the film - with many songs from the early to mid 2000s being used.

I found myself humming along to the tunes often. I also thought Anna Kendrick was particularly good as the more rebellious character, Beca. I would recommend this film to fans of recent pop/chart music.

Its not quite Glee but its certainly ok.
