No. Just no. Suffering from sequelitus, as was probably the only likely outcome really, this movie falls so short of the beloved original that, horror of horrors, I'm afraid they might not make another.
That would be tragic-but the creators need to take a long hard look at what it was that made the first movie such a welcome breath of fresh air and try to match that (without being formulaic). Perhaps that's just too difficult with a 2nd (or even 3rd) outing.
