Review of Pitch Perfect 2 (2015) by Freddie S — 03 Feb 2016

Pitch Perfect 2 had a big challenge in being a sequel to such a beloved and really memorable movie. Did it match up to the hype, I don't believe so, but it wasn't awful. That's not necessarily a good or bad thing so I'm not sad I saw it, just wish it would have been better.

If this had been the first movie to come out, I doubt there would have been a sequel, but as it is, it has already almost out grossed it's predecessor in only its first weekend out, so I'm sure there will be a Pitch Perfect 3 or Pitch Perfect: Fat Amy The Movie.

This movie wasn't aca-awesome, but if you liked the first film, it'd be aca-awkward not to see the sequel.
