Review of Pitch Black (2000) by Matthew S — 31 Jul 2009
Pretty straight-forward survival/suspense/sci-fi thing is what you have here. It has a very similar feel to Aliens, except the characters (even the main one) are much weaker. It pulled off the suspense aspect decently well; I was never quite sure who would live or die.
It kept me interested and I'm curious to see what the sequel is like. On a side note, I really expected there to be a more interesting explanation for Riddick's eyes.
