A movie that gets the whole afraid of the dark premise with a decent twist.
A spaceship crashes onto a planet where once the suns go down the alien life comes out wanting to feed. The crew and its passengers, including the unusual Riddick (Vin Diesel) must traverse over land to the closest landing area while avoiding the locals. It becomes cliche when the usual progression of cast members are picked off as the crew makes it way off the planet.
An effective thriller, made for Saturday afternoon scares.
