Review of Pitch Black (2000) by Jordan P — 26 Oct 2012
Hmmm...what to say about this one. Definitely, a much darker vibe compared to its sequel, but the film is definitely showing its age. The once top notch CGi comes off as very fake and takes away from the scares.
Vin Diesels portrayal of Riddick flip flops sides so many times that its difficult to understand how we're suppose to feel about him: is he a villain, a hero, or just a psycho? People die off for no reason as well leaving us with no closure for anyone.
Overall, still entertaining and recommended for a decent popcorn flick!
