This is a the exact opposite of the third film. In that one Jack isn't seen for about 35 minutes, in this he is the only thing we follow for about 45 minutes. Not a good thing. Once the film hits the open sea it gets back to the fun.
And after the amazing mermaid encounter you will be locked into the adventure. So please be patient.
