Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) by Alec G — 10 Sep 2012
While I liked the first 3, 'On stranger tides' somehow felt 'forced', like it wasn't initially intended to exist but got made anyway. The story has a pretty lumbering pace and it's obvious that something has happened to Sparrow (Johnny Depp) himself, be it poor writing or just him being tired of the role, as his performance is nowhere near as comedic and flamboyant as in the first films.
