In all honesty it looked kind of cheap and didn't fit in to any of the other movies, buuuut I love Johnny Depp as Capt. Jack, Rush as Barbossa ("you can sleep when you're dead!") and Cruz was pretty badass as a pirates, although she wasn't really showcased that much.
There were a lot of holes. I think I was bamboozled by the IMAX screen and Johnny Depp's face on it, because I left the movie really liking it, it was once I started thinking about the story, that I didn't care for it as much.
You know I'll add it to my Pirates collection in 2 years when it's in the dollar bin;) PS: the shrieking mermaids were really freaky.
