Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) by Tris K — 12 Mar 2013
Pretty good, I liked the adventure and search for the fountain of youth. This was a new PotC with all new cast (except for Johnny) and it was just a wonderful addition to the Pirate Series. The only thing I did not like was the romance between the priest and the mermaid.
I loved how they met and how the end left you hanging but the middle part was just not right. They should have made him more important and included a little bit more about their relationship. Hopefully if they make another movie, these two will portray a bigger and more important role.
Other than that I loved this movie. The chemistry between Penelope Cruz and Johnny Depp was amazing and their story line was hilarious. Makes me want to see more.
