Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) by Geraldo G — 03 Apr 2013
It tries to deliver something different and better than what we have seen in the previous trilogy, and does it deliver?...well, a bit yes, some no. The problem with Stranger Tides it's the plot: it's a bit tin and less complex than previous entries, so not much development aside from characters is present, and some of the ideas aren't well exploited.
It does feel different from the prequels, but that's not always good. Yet, it's somewhat a good film, entertaining, fun, Johnny Depp it's still Jack and that's fine by me. It's a pirate's life for me, savvy?
