Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) by Andreas O — 03 Nov 2012
It becomes more and more obvious that they should have stopped making these things after the first. With a messy and hole-ridden plot and unclear intentions, as well as a nauseating religious message, this film is surprisingly unappealing.
Some scenes are good, but they are a clear minority. And much as I love Jack Sparrow, it is sadly obvious that the character isn't fully capable of carrying the movie by himself.
